Filter

Camera filters attach to the front of your lens and modify the light entering the camera in ways that are difficult or impossible to replicate in post-processing. A UV filter protects your lens from dust, scratches, and moisture — it's the first accessory most photographers add. A polarising filter reduces reflections on water and glass, deepens blue skies, and improves colour saturation on bright days. Neutral density (ND) filters reduce the amount of light entering the lens, allowing slower shutter speeds for silky waterfalls and motion blur even in bright conditions. Variable ND filters are particularly versatile for video work. Choosing the right filter size depends on your lens — check the diameter printed on the lens cap before ordering.
