Condition: New
Overview:
The Hoya PROND EX 500 (ND2.7) Filter (77mm) is a high-performance neutral density filter designed to provide a 9-stop reduction in light. This filter is essential for photographers and videographers who want to maintain creative control when shooting in bright lighting conditions. It allows you to use slower shutter speeds for smooth motion effects or wider apertures for shallow depth-of-field shots without overexposing your images.
Key Features:
-
9-Stop Light Reduction (ND2.7):
- The ND2.7 rating reduces the amount of light entering the lens by 9 stops, allowing for longer exposures or wider apertures even in very bright environments. This is ideal for achieving motion blur in moving subjects like waterfalls or creating beautifully blurred backgrounds in portraits.
-
Professional-Grade Multi-Coated Optical Glass:
- This filter is crafted using multi-coated optical glass, which reduces unwanted reflections, ghosting, and flares. The result is sharper, high-contrast images with true-to-life color reproduction.
-
Slim, Lightweight Design:
- The filter’s slim aluminum frame is designed to prevent vignetting when used with wide-angle lenses, ensuring edge-to-edge sharpness and clarity. The lightweight construction makes it easy to carry for outdoor and travel photography.
-
Durable and Reliable:
- Built with rugged materials, this filter is perfect for use in challenging environments. The aluminum frame offers durability while the multi-coated glass ensures it can handle various lighting and weather conditions, maintaining long-lasting performance.
