Overview:
The Hoya PROND EX 1000 (ND3.0) Filter (82mm) is a high-performance neutral density filter designed to give photographers full control over exposure in bright lighting conditions. With a 10-stop light reduction capability, this ND filter is ideal for creating stunning long-exposure effects and for shooting with wide apertures even in daylight, without risking overexposure.
Key Features:
-
10-Stop Light Reduction (ND3.0):
- Provides an impressive 10-stop light reduction, allowing photographers to slow down shutter speeds significantly. This is perfect for capturing smooth water effects, motion blur, or using wider apertures to isolate subjects in well-lit conditions.
-
High-Quality Optical Glass:
- Crafted from premium optical glass, this filter ensures top-tier clarity and sharpness, maintaining the integrity of the original image quality. This is critical for professional results in both photography and videography.
-
Multi-Coating Technology:
- Equipped with Hoya’s multi-coating technology, the filter reduces reflections and prevents ghosting and flare, even in challenging lighting conditions. This ensures better contrast, enhanced color fidelity, and superior image clarity.
-
Slim Frame Design:
- The ultra-slim profile of the frame prevents vignetting, even when used with wide-angle lenses. This ensures the entire image frame is free from any dark edges, crucial for landscape and architectural photography.
-
Durable and Lightweight Construction:
- Built to withstand demanding outdoor environments, the filter is both lightweight and robust. It is designed for regular use and comes with a protective case to safeguard it from dust and scratches during transport.
